Krista is a climate finance expert with four years of experience at the Climate Bonds Initiative and has worked closely with financial institutions to advance green finance initiatives. She played a key role in building regulated green taxonomies, including collaborations with the EU and PSF, and has earned advisory group seats with prominent organizations such as ICMA, LSEG, and FoSDA. As a sought-after keynote speaker, Krista engages stakeholders across sectors and geographies, driving the global effort to mobilize capital for climate action.

Sean Kidney, co-founder and CEO of the Climate Bonds Initiative, is a Professor in Practice for Sustainable Finance at SOAS. He serves on various government green finance advisory committees worldwide and has been a member of the EU Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance, the People's Bank of China Green Finance Task Force, and other influential organizations.
Advisor
David Carlin leads the TCFD program for UNEP FI, recently managing a banking pilot on climate scenarios, risk assessments, and governance. He contributes to Forbes on climate change and leadership. Previously, he worked in risk management for Oliver Wyman and PNC Bank. His background is in quantitative modeling, and he studied at Carnegie Mellon and Williams College.
Technical Lead
Lewis works across the full engineering stack from building UIs to integrating LLM systems. Previously, he led engineering teams and projects at Microsoft across Azure and Teams. With over a decade of experience building complex software products from server to desktop/mobile/web, he most enjoys supporting engineers to reach their full potential.
Senior Software Engineer
Steffan focuses on our data platform with his strong technical experience from a variety of industries including corporate finance and esports. Steffan joins ClimateAligned following his role as a Development Lead at Sportsflare, a startup focused on esports data acquisition and market pricing, where he played a pivotal role in development efforts before its acquisition.
Senior ML Engineer
Leo is responsible for the core ML capabilities at ClimateAligned. After completing a PhD in the Physics of Nanoscale Network Systems, he has worked for 5 years in progressively earlier-stage companies, building AI systems across diverse domains from real-time esports prediction to large-scale people movement for transport planning.
Senior Analyst
Prashant operates at the intersection of climate, data, and technology. Previously, he was involved in developing sustainable financial data products. Prashant uses his engineering background and sustainable finance experience to develop innovative financial products aimed at addressing climate change.
Climate Finance Analyst
Natasha focuses on enhancing ClimateAligned's data insights. Her Columbia University degree in Sustainable Development is complemented a range of experiences across ESG roles, spanning sustainable timber investment, the Inter-American Development Bank, and New York's Office of Management and Budget.
Founders Associate
Friederike works closely with Aleksi and Krista to support operations and processes across hiring, fundraising, business development, and marketing. She brings valuable expertise drawing from her previous VC role helping founders scale and her earlier experiences in corporate finance and early-stage startups.
